Serving the Colonial Heights, Ettrick, Petersburg, and Surrounding Communities

New Day Christian Church loves the Lord and is built on Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. We worship Him in spirit and truth. September 6, 2022, the Lord blessed this Branch of Zion by equipping the founders Brenda A. Epps, Charles L. Epps, Michael Mills, Rev. Leon J. Yarbough, and Deaconess Mattie Love Yarbough for His glory to move forward with planting His Church. We meet in person and virtually via Facebook Live, to do the things that God calls us to do.

Our initial service was on October 9, 2022, and the Message by Rev. Leon J. Yarbough was "It's A New Day, What Are You Going To Do With It?" We initially met at Hilton Garden Inn, Colonial Heights, VA. We now meet at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Petersburg, 235 West Washington Street Petersburg, VA 23803. Rev. Leon J. Yarbough was installed as our Pastor on October 16, 2022. As vessels of God, our vision is according to Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
